About the Fellow

Tsemaye (Tse) Uwejamomere is an engineer motivated by a calling to serve through the application of technology, business, and leadership. Having grown up between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, she witnessed how access to reliable energy shapes the quality of life of individuals and communities. These experiences led her to pursue engineering to build the technical foundations to leverage technology to contribute to sustainable economic development.

Through her undergraduate degree, involvement in social enterprises, and professional work, Tse has become increasingly aware of the need for technology solutions to be coupled with a thoughtful systems approach in policy and business to both unlock and scale impact. Hence, she is pursuing the dual MPA-ID/MBA programme at Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School, to strengthen her ability to work across the intersection of policy, business, and engineering. She hopes to bring the three disciplines together to contribute to solutions that are both technically sound and socially meaningful.

Grounded in her Christian faith, Tse sees her work as an expression of stewardship hoping to build sustainable and equitable energy systems; she is particularly passionate about expanding access to reliable electricity while supporting the transition to more sustainable and equitable energy systems that enable communities to flourish.
